Description
Each vial contains 10mg of highly pure PT-141. PT-141 (Bremelanotide) is a peptide developed for the treatment of sexual dysfunction. Approved by the FDA under the name Vyleesi, it is indicated for women with hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) and is also being studied for its potential use in men with erectile dysfunction (ED). Unlike drugs such as Viagra, which act on the vascular system to increase blood flow, PT-141 works centrally by stimulating the melanocortin receptors in the brain to enhance sexual arousal. It is administered via subcutaneous injection, with effects typically beginning within 30 to 60 minutes and lasting for 6 to 12 hours.
