Tesamorelin

Description

Each vial contains 10 or 20 mg of highly pure Tesamorelin. Tesamorelin is a synthetic peptide that functions as an analog of growth hormone–releasing hormone (GHRH). It is FDA-approved for the treatment of HIV-associated lipodystrophy, a condition marked by abnormal fat distribution, particularly the buildup of excess abdominal fat. By stimulating the pituitary gland to release growth hormone, Tesamorelin promotes lipolysis and helps reduce visceral adipose tissue. Beyond its primary use in improving body composition for patients with lipodystrophy, Tesamorelin has also been studied for its potential to positively influence metabolic health, including insulin sensitivity and lipid profiles, making it a subject of growing interest in metabolic and endocrine research.
